The Royal Orient is one of the world's most exotic trains. It is a rare delight, an experience that will take you back in time to the age of the Maharajas. The train takes you through the two culturally fascinating states of Gujarat and Rajasthan.

A joint venture of the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and the Indian Railways, the Royal Orient promises you seven memorable days and nights. modern conveniences you would expect in a first class hotel. Air-conditioned ambience keeps the temperature down to 15 degrees. Every cabin is clean, comfortable and furnished tastefully. The cabins have spacious baths attached to them, equipped with running hot and cold water. There are multi-cuisine restaurants to tickle your taste buds, as well as a bar- The Watering Hole with all your favourite drinks. There's even a library on the Royal Orient if you are looking for a quiet laid back time.

7 Nights / 8 Days
Delhi - Udaipur - Ahemdabad - Junagadh - Veraval - Sasan Gir - Delwada - Palitana - Sakhrej - Jaipur - Delhi

Day 1
Starts from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station.

 Day 2
Arr. at Chittaurgarh Railway Station, visit Chittaurgarh Fort. Afterwards depart for Udaipur, upon arrival transfer to local hotel for lunch. After lunch visit the City Palace, boating at lake Pichola, Sahelion-ki-Bari (Royal Gardens), Shilpgram (Craft Village). Departure for Junagarh. Dinner & overnight.

 Day 3
Arrival at Ahmedabad in Gujarat depart for Junagadh. Breakfast and lunch at local restaurant. Visit Ashokan Rock Edict of 3rd century B.C., Darbar Hall Museum, Mausoleum of Nawab Mahabat Khanji. After visit depart for Veraval. Visit Somnath (the famous Shiva temple on the shore of the Arabian Sea.). dinner & overnight.

 Day 4
Depart for Sasangir, Ahmedpur, Mandvi famous destinations in Gujarat. Upooin arrival visit Lion Sanctuary after early breakfast on board. After visit depart for Delwada.
after lunch visit Ahmedpur Madvi Beach and Diu. (Fort and St. Paul's Church). Dinner & overnight.

 Day 5
Depart for Palitana, Sakhrej Breakast, upon arrival at Palitana. Visit 863 Jain Temples atop Shatrunjaya Hills. (3572 steps can be climbed or please use the chairslings arranged for you if you so desire). Depart for Sarkhej, after lunch depart for Sarkhej. Visit Vishalla village.Dinner at Hotel (From Sarkhej to Ahmedabad by bus.)

 Day 6
Depart for Ranakpur, Udaipur, famous heritage destinations in Rajasthan after breakfast visit at Ranakpur Jain Temple, after visit depart for Jaipur, dinner & overnight.

 Day 7
Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, Upon arrival at Jaipur visit of Amber Fort and with Elephant ride via Hawa Mahal. After lunch visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar(Observatory), afterwards depart fort Delhi, dinner & overnight.

 Day 8
Back for Delhi. Journey ends at Delhi Cantt.
