Day 05 In Madurai
City tour of Madurai -- your tour takes you to the shree mennakshi temple -- one of India's biggest & most important temples complexes. Built in Dravidian style -- one for shiva & one for his spouse Meenakshi. Also visit the Teppa Kulum -- a tank with a island temple and tirumalainaik palace -- 1000 pillared hall. Day 06 Madurai - Periyar
Drive to Periyar covering a distance of 150 kms. On arrival, check in at hotel. Later, go game-viewing by boat in the sanctuary. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Periyar - Cochin
Early in the morning, go game-viewing by boat in the sanctuary. Drive to Kottayam. From Kottayam to Alleppey, take a leisurely boat ride; from Alleppey, drive to Cochin covering a distance of 200 kms. Arrive at Cochin late in the evening and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Later, proceed for a city tour of Mysore – your tour of the Sandlwood city takes you to the Mysore palace -- one of the largest & most splendid of its kind. This Indo - Saracenic biuilding has among other things, stained glass chamber ceilings, a carved silver door, a solid gold throne & a gallery of exquisite paintings. Day 11 Mysore - Madras
Drive to Madras covering a distance of 450 kms. On arrival, check in at hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Madras – Back Home
